Dr. Jairo Chavez, your Spring Branch TX dentist, received his dental degree in 1993 from the prestigious National University of Colombia. Upon graduation, he pursued a second dental degree from the International Dentist Program at Loma Linda University in Southern California, a very selective education program focused on advanced prosthodontics.
This program is designed to allow qualified international dentists like Spring Branch TX dentist Dr. Chavez a chance to earn a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in the United States. The program accepts only twenty-four dentists out of more than eight-hundred applicants every year.
Dr. Chavez continued his training by completing the Dental Implant Preceptorship at the University of Texas Health Science Center of San Antonio. He continues his education by completing hundreds of continuing education hours, and is a certified Invisalign provider—with extensive experience in providing top-notch affordable cosmetic dentistry and CEREC in-office teeth restorations.
He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American College of Oral Implantologists, and is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Chavez is also a founding member of the Gran San Antonio Hispanic Dental Association.
Dr. Chavez loves dentistry and focuses on providing patients with comfortable and satisfying dentistry care. When he is not working to help patients, he enjoys completing puzzles, riding his motorcycle, or just relaxing at home with his wife and four children.
